Corey O’Leary is a people person who is not afraid of hard work. Through his working life Corey has been drawn to roles that involved working with people and working hard. Corey was drawn to real estate as it requires both in equal measures – plus a passion for property. Corey began his working career in hospitality working in the family business in Dunedin. It is here Corey honed his people skills and learnt the age old adage that hard work will get you far. In time Corey took those life lessons and put them to good use developing and restoring houses in Dunedin for many years – creating a successful business that gave Corey a passion for real estate in general and an understanding of what is required to
be good at the job. Outside of work Corey has been heavily involved in sport focussed mostly on cricket along with his young family. Having moved to Christchurch, his home of birth, Corey is pleased to be able to show his children where he grew up and give them some of the great experiences Corey had whilst in Christchurch. Corey is proud to be part of the Grenadier City team at Christchurch City and the Harcourts Real Estate brand. Corey and his partner Chelsea told it to us straight. They didn’t give us false promises or give us a ball park figure that was out of our league. Everything they told us as potential buyers was true come auction day. Corey opened up the home for us for private viewings, even between auction and settlement so I could get the carpet measured up. Nothing was ever a problem for Corey and through our experience in dealing with him as a buyer we are now using him and Chelsea to sell our second property.
Corey and Chelsea were great to deal with, supporting us through the buying process and then selling our property at auction. Highly recommend this team, the are straight up and honest. Already recommending them to others and will keep doing so.
Corey promised us a gift when we bought the new home on 16th December. We have not received anything. He said the lock to the pool house would be fixed. It hasn't been. When we did the pre-settlement inspection, we felt he was intimidating and we felt rushed and didn't check half the things. As a result we inherited a number of things that have since needed fixing.
