Wendy Poynton found her vocation when she joined Harcourts Real Estate in July 2013. By 2014, she was named Rising Star for the October – December quarter. An innately social person, she has enjoyed trading in her factory uniform from her previous role in manufacturing, for the people-orientated profession of real estate: ‘talking is my life now’.
Wendy has travelled extensively in Europe, Asia, New Zealand and mainland Australia but is still proud to call Tasmania home. Our little patch of paradise!
As a Property Sales Consultant, Wendy engages with prospective vendors, researches and advises on property prices, manages marketing and organises open home viewings.
Her success has been recognised with several awards including 5-star ratings from buyers and vendors, as well as achieving total sales value of $2.70 million, the highest total in West Ulverstone for the past twelve months according to Rate My Agent. In 2018, she achieved her Amethyst pin for sales in excess of $30 million.
As a member of Harcourts, the staff undergo extensive professional development training to better assist vendors and buyers to achieve their real estate goals. “Harcourts is very much a team environment, we all support each other. If you are having a down day, everyone rallies around to pick you up, and everyone celebrates your successes.”
This has a flow-on effect for Harcourts customers who are treated with honesty, generosity, diplomacy and empathy by staff who know the local area and community.
