Hello, and welcome to the Harcourts Move April newsletter.
What an incredible week we’ve had; with the 2022 Federal Budget revealed and what felt like half of Melbourne attending the memorial for Shane Warne on Wednesday night at the MCG. Like him or love him, Shane was a Victorian inspiration who will be forever remembered with the Great Southern Stand now bearing his name.
There’s been a lot of commentary around the budget since Tuesday, and in a year where housing affordability is at the top of voters’ minds, the focus has clearly been on the short-term relief for voters.
I was very interested in what was in it for property owners and discussed the implications for the property sector with buyers advocate Cate Bakos. We discuss whether the various housing schemes are enough, what impact they will have on the market, and how property prices might be impacted. Watch our video here.
This month, we’re excited to share a very exciting team update with you. Not only have we welcomed two new team members, we’re also going to be welcoming a new baby boy in the coming weeks with Jesse May leaving to welcome him into the world. We’re looking forward to meeting him. We have loved working with Jesse May and wish her all the very best as she moves into her new role as a mum!
New team members Kira Davies is taking over Jesse May’s role and Deanna Di Maria will be taking on the role as our new team leader. Shelli, who was in this role has left the business for personal reasons, and we wish her all the best as well.
The rest of our long standing team; Anna, Liam, Pia, Aleasha and Catherin round out our very talented team who are here to help and support you with your property portfolio.
Thank you for your continued support and as always, should you have any issues or queries please feel free to contact me directly.
Until next month, stay safe and stay connected.
