Catherine has lived in Tawa for 30 years. She has been married to her husband for 26 years and together they have raised three daughters. Catherine’s daughters have all attended Tawa Primary School, Tawa Intermediate and Tawa College. Through her daughter’s Catherine has been involved in many of the wonderful clubs and organisations that Tawa has to offer, including Plunket Toy Library, Girl Guides, gymnastics, cricket, hockey, tennis and netball. She worked at Tawa College for five years and prior to that, eight years for Whanau Manaaki Kindergartens in an administrative role.
Catherine currently belongs to the Inner Wheel which is the woman’s arm of Rotary in Tawa and volunteers as a driver for Meals on Wheels in Tawa.
