Glenis Shirley

Glenis Shirley is Branch Manager across two New Age Realty offices – Papakura and Karaka. As an experienced leader and former salesperson herself, “Mumma G”, as she is affectionately known, makes it her job to ensure that all salespeople and supporting administrators have what they need. This results in a smooth and cohesive operation serving clients and delivering their desired outcomes. Glenis covers all tasks associated with compliance, processing new listings, checking agreements, training and coaching staff - all the time injecting some fun and laughter into her family-oriented workplace.

A long time South Auckland local, Glenis has a significant sales and service background in the beauty industry. Glenis has been with Harcourts throughout her entire real estate career starting at the Manurewa office. She kicked off her first year by winning Rookie of the Year and by the time she left in 2017 had a remarkable track record as a multi award-winning salesperson. In 2017 she became branch manager there and this was followed by two more management stints in other offices before she joined Harcourts Papakura in 2018.

Glenis gets enormous satisfaction from seeing her people succeed and reach the goals they have set themselves. She’s a great listener and her discretion and objective problem-solving approach mean many turn to her for counsel and advice. As a former high achieving agent and veteran real estate manager she has credibility and experience so the team feel safe in her hands. Her holistic approach to her management responsibilities involves being adaptable and flexible, maintaining professionalism balanced with a healthy dose of good humour.
