About Mike

Mike loves listing and selling property, which is why he is so good at it. Mike couples his excellent presentation skills with his open and enthusiastic style. He is a talented Auctioneer and a very special member of our Harcourts family.

Mike has 45 years of Auctioneering experience. With 25 successful years in Real Estate selling and Auction calling Mike brings an expertise and passion second to none calling in excess of 60 auctions annually. Mike calls Auctions around the region including Wanganui,
Feilding, Palmerston North, Levin and Paraparaumu. Mike continues to train and up skill himself and competes in the Auctioneering competitions at the highest level. He also oversees all the Auction campaigns to ensure the very best result is achieved for the client.
In the late nineties Mike successfully set up Gala Auctions in Wellington for L J Hooker. He was Auction Manager for Harcourts on the North Shore, Auckland in 2004.

Prior to entering Real Estate he spent 20 years in the Stock and Station industry with 5 years as a director of Manawatu Livestock. This work involved calling weekly Auctions in the lower half of the North Island also Auctioneering at National Bull and Ram sales. Mike is the proud father of three grown daughters – Liz, Bronwyn & Frances plus seven grandchildren – Luke, Maia, Owen, Piper, William, Evelyn and Josephine. When Mike is not listing and selling real estate, he enjoys keeping fit at the gym, playing golf, coaching hockey and spending time with family.
