Soon after finishing university, Zoe built a stellar international sales & marketing career in IT while based in her native Taiwan. Through frequent business trips abroad and daily interaction with clients from many countries and cultures, she learnt the importance of clear communication, integrity and careful personalised service to establishing and maintaining winning long-term client relationships.
After leaving Taiwan, Zoe lived and worked in Sydney for 13 years. It was during this time that she started visiting Queenstown frequently and – enjoying its great outdoors and vibrant international community – she formed the idea of one day making Otago home.
Then followed nearly 10 years living in Colorado, London and the south of Spain, along the way learning firsthand much about buying and selling homes as an expat in foreign countries. Finally, in early 2022, she made it to Queenstown as a permanent resident with her husband and cat.
Zoe is already involved in a local philanthropic cause and also uses her formal interpretation and translation qualification in NZ’s healthcare sector (she is bilingual in Mandarin and English). When she’s not working, she’s most probably hiking or biking, exploring new places, out with friends, or simply cooking great international cuisine.
