Having recently stepped back from the Chief Operating Officer role at Yealands Wine Group, Mike brings over 30 years of New Zealand and international viticultural & wine industry knowledge and understanding to Harcourts Marlborough Rural team.
Primarily involved in vineyards and viticulture, Mike’s previous roles as National Viticulture Manager (Pernod Ricard NZ), Vice President - Vineyard Operations & Grower Relations (Beam Wine Estates & Allied Domecq Wines USA, California) and Technical Manager for Helan Mountain Wines (China), along with technical support roles for Seagrams Nine Hills / Indiosa Wines (India) have given him a global perspective and insight into vineyard properties and growing great grapes.
Mike’s unique career has seen him involved in nearly every area of land acquisition, divestment, and vineyard development & management.
