Located in a prime position in the heart of Waipara, the rectangular shaped property is situated behind the well known and recognised Waipara Hills winery. The Glasnevin soils found on the property are proven performers in the region. The 14.92 hectares planted is in varieties suited - Pinot Noir (37.5%), Sauvignon Blanc (34%) and Pinot Gris (25%). The first vines were planted in 1997, with subsequent plantings over the next ten years. Predominantly grafted plants (65%), there are five clones of Pinot Noir on four different rootstocks, two clones of Sauvignon Blanc (on 10 different rootstock) two clones of Pinot Gris (on own roots).

All vines are irrigated by drippers, with water sourced from a well on an adjacent property.

There are two frost fans on the property which it is understood have successfully dealt with frost events apart from the extremes which affected the whole valley.

The quality of fruit harvested from this vineyard has been recognised by the calibre of wine produced under several different labels.

There are currently no buildings on the property.

This parcel of land is ideally suited to expansion for an existing operator, and to establishment of the increasingly sought after Chardonnay variety.
