Officer in Effective Control (O.I.E.C)
Lou's real estate career, spanning approximately 35 years, reached unprecedented heights in 2013. Director and OIEC of the renowned Harcourts Judd White Glen Waverley - and responsible for managing his multi award-winning Property Management Department - Lou was named the Real Estate Institute of Victoria's Residential Principal of the Year, 2013.
The prestigious, highly-coveted award came hot on the heels of state-wide and national recognition of the team's exceptional success. Named Harcourts Victoria's Number 1 Property Management office in all three categories (Service Excellence, Value and Growth) in 2013, which no other agency has ever achieved, the team then went on to again secure all three titles at the Australian level.
It's a far cry from having purchased, together with business partner, Dexter Prack, NR Reid Glen Waverley, in 2000 - with no sales team and no rental department! in 2007 they re-branded to Harcourts Glen Waverley and, by 2012, acquired Judd White, becoming the area's most successful agency.
Lou, a fully Licensed Estate Agent, is a hands-on Director and active member of the team, whom he commends for their loyalty and for setting such high industry standards. They adopt a firm, but fair approach - and expertly walk the fine line between owners and tenants' rights and responsibilities.
"We approach client care from every angle," explains Lou, "from advanced staff training and attractive staff incentives to fostering positive work ethics. We also use sophisticated technology, operating systems, and communication and database initiatives to ensure regular contact with out clients."
Lou offers a flexible range of property management structures to better meet landlord' individual requirements. He also works closely with the Sales Department to give landlords greater opportunities and a more comprehensive asset management service focused on security, profitability and growth.
While Lou's commitment to his clients, his team and the real estate industry is unquestionable, so too is his dedication to his family.
